Too often, history fades with time and sadly … so do our memories.

I strive to help preserve the stories before they are gone, capturing them through audio or video — whether history of family, community or business.     

The idea came about the day my wife’s mother decided to stop medical treatment and entered hospice care. She was a woman who’s body might be failing yet her mind was as sharp as ever. 

Using my skills as a journalist, I interviewed her and saved some of her stories for family to have, share and remember. 

She is gone now, yet her stories remain. 

What better way to preserve history than with the actual voice of the person who lived it or knew it best.

This service is not just for families, but all businesses and organizations as well.

It’s an excellent way to mark and remember milestone moments, whether just happening or those whose anniversary is soon to arrive. 

Example: A towing company is reaching 50 years and decides to have stories preserved and presented about what it was like when they first opened. How their company has evolved over the years.

For me, I look back and wish I had done this with my own mother back when I still could have. Same of others I know whose rich history.
