I’ve been pepper sprayed, tear gassed, had acid thrown on me, been caught between two volatile factions and more.

BUT … I have ALWAYS come back with the moment.

Art of the Story

One of my mentors once told me I would photograph presidents and historic events, but in the end … The smaller community assignments would grow to matter most to me.

It’s not about the size of the assignment as all have meaning.

Whether I’m photographing a historic event or a meeting of the county board of supervisors, the assignment will receive the same level of attention and dedication.

It’s who I am. It’s what I’m trained to do.
